The description was good, but even when walking to the place you are faced with litter everywhere.
The property is no better. Check in went easy and the host did his best, but the bungalows are not sealed so wildlife can get in an out as it pleases, there was a consturuction site right across the walkway including litter, the rooms were not tidy and beds showed signs of bedbugs ok, apparently this is common on Koh Rong.
Then there was the bathroom, with an uncleaned toilet and a sink that was leaking. The host did offer to switch to another bungalow but we decided to cancel and leave alltogether. Centrally located when you undock and up the hill so you are away from most of the craziness if you need some space! It is the off-season so there was a lot of construction going on the place is growing fast so get there soon before it's too much! Reception girl is really nice and Ben the host is super friendly and accommodating. I had bungalow B5 and the view was stunning morning and evening. Recommended for sure if you don't mind the ruckus down on the beach front.
The hammock in the balcony is amazing. The huts and the restaurant are really nice but the bathroom are not cool at all. The are kind of fare away and not clean. Pristine, powdery White Sands Beaches. Service is very inattentive, lethargic and extremely slow at best. Here are also quite a few other Restaurants and places you can try and you don't have to stick to dining at this one location. Amazing nice private place on private beach. Nice place to swim and relax. Just when you get off main pier in Koh Rong you have to either get water taxi to coconut beach or motorbike.
Which is an extra cost. But was worth it. Awesome place to spend a couple of days on Coconut Beach. Everybody was helpful and nice, the little cottages were more comfortable than expected and the beach was amazing. I'll be coming here again for sure.

It exceeded all expectations. From the time we got off the pier, their customer service was outstanding. The bungalow was great, your usual beach bungalow. The food was very reasonably priced compared to other places we stayed. The beach itself was perfect. We really will be coming back to Coconut beach. I just hope it stays unspoilt!

L'endroit est très calme et relaxant, pas de chance pour nous il u a eu beaucoup de vent donc impossible de faire une excursion mais nous avons pu voir le plancton phosphorescent à ma nuit tombée.

The bungalow was great, very secluded beach and the last bungalow lot giving you a lot of privacy. I had some difficulty speaking with the staff in English trying to arrange a motorbike back to the main port because the waves were too high for a water taxi.
After asking the guy 5 times if he can arrange me a motorbike, he would just laugh and shrug it off "Yes, waves too high". I ended up having to go to another resort a few meters away and asking them to help arrange a way back to the port. Once we checked out, the same person I had problems with asked if we needed a motorbike. The restaurant was nothing great, and there are much better options on the beach.
The staff seems to be in a bit over their head at times with the amount of guests they're hosting. The food they serve was so so. The drinks they serve barely had alcohol in them, so you're better walking a few meters away to get something better. It was a really beautiful place and a nicely maintained property, especially in comparison to the other places along the beach.

Expect slow food service but otherwise a very pleasant and restful stay! The beach is gorgeous and the cabins are great! I really enjoyed staying at Nhets place.
I just wish I'd had more time. Tranquil settings and the view from the balcony is great. Very friendly and helpful caretaker. A fishing trip with with Cpt. Our stay at Nhet's place was great, and as a host Nhet is outstanding, particularly in helping us in the lead up and all throughout our stay on the karan y krystle que datan de 2018 with quick responses. Nhet also has staff nearby who check up with you every few days to ensure you're comfort. It is a bit further then other guest houses of the island but the great view and coziness truely worth it! A must do if you want to experience traditional island life. This house was right on the river and Mr hun really goes above and beyond.
He is really trying the help the local community and deserves more support. The local boat trip is an experience too! Make sure to go to pier 52, which is down what looks like a small alley way. Coming with local boat was an adventure! If you want to stay un the nice preksway village, you should better go to Mr hun's guesthouse, firefly guesthouse. He is a nice and trustfull man. It was literally our best stay in the karan y krystle que datan de 2018 and we would highly recommend it for people that want to get away from all the main tourist spots and experience real Cambodia. Indeed and thanks to the incredible Mr Hun and Johney who speak perfectly english, you will learn a lot about their traditions and culture, and have the chance to participate and support their wonderful project!

Super tolle Anlage - Traumstrand - glasklares Meer - sehr nette fröhliche Kambodschaner, die dort mit ihren Familien leben und arbeiten. Immer wieder gerne dorthin zurück. Geweldige locatie, rustig net buiten het dorp waardoor je geen past hebt van de feesten en toch zo in het dorp bent.
Daarnaast dichtbij 4K beach. Ben is awesome and so is the staff of White Beach Bungalows. Right from the time of booking till we left Ben was very helpful. He personally came to receive us in a small little boat from the pier while we wondered how are we going to cart our luggage on the 10 min walk.
We did face some problem on the first night as we found bed bugs, but Ben was apologetic about it and immediately changed our room and also offered us free breakfast. They also immediately started treatment for the bugs in that room. He also helped us book a boat tour around the island. White beach bungalows is on the quiet end of Koh Toch beach yet just a 10 walk away from the main area with restaurants and pubs.
One thing which should improve not just at White Beach Bungalows but entire Koh Rong is the drainage system which can be better. Thank you Ben for a pleasant stay at White Beach. We missed already that place! Great location just off the dock. We got to stay in the Garden House as well as got an upgrade on the last night due to some construction going on.

Stunning beach view, loads of great places to eat and drink with very friendly locals. A great island and perfectly located accommodation. We had such a great time at the Beach House Bungalow. Rob, Emma, Noemi and Alex gave as a very warm welcome coupled with great recommendations on what to do in the island including dining and day trip activities.
They were super caring during the whole stay! The spot is quite unique and the fact that it is on the beach is amazing. Breakfasts were great and family dinner's even better. The bungalow was great, with a lovely mezzanine on top. The island in itself is developing but we had all commodities at hand. I can only recommend this place: My sister, my sister's friend, my cousin, and I had a wonderful and relaxing time at the Beach House Garden View house for 4 nights. The newly built house provided an excellent home away from home with a small bedroom with a queen-sized bed on the ground floor and a larger bedroom on a king-sized bed on the low ceiling mezzanine.
There were mosquito nets for the beds. However, they were too small to cover the whole beds. It would be beneficial to have mosquito nets sufficiently large enough to cover the entire beds. The bathroom is clean, spacious, well ventilated and has a window with a view of a green garden. There is a small area with a sink just outside of the bathroom that was set up as a kitchen for us to prepare many delicious meals from the fresh fish and seafood that we bought right off the fishing boats at the pier and vegetables and gardens from the local shops in the village.
We spent a lot of time hanging out and relaxing on the hammock and lounging chairs on the porch that has the view of the beach and bay.
Rob is an excellent host. He walked us through the house and provided all the information that we needed. Whenever we needed something, Rob listened attentively and provided what we needed. He even lent me a pair of fins so that I could go snorkeling. The house is of excellent value. I would recommend this house without any reservation.

Jungle Bay was a great and interesting place to stay for those who want to go off the grid for a while. The amenities are basic which is fine for me, but a bit of a heads up as to expectations may have made me more prepared.

Il y a aussi une plage privée très propre. It's the perfect place!! The Laguna Villa was terrific. Close enough to good bars and food, but yet secluded enough to get some rest and relaxation. Beautiful place for a more luxury vacation or a special treat during your travels! Cleanliness and hot showers are a big luxury on the islands. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with the budget, and even those who don't should splurge on at least one night.

The resort has everything you need, private beach, snorkeling gear, super fast wifi, a pool table and an amazing selection of food. The main beach is about a 15 min walk away or a short boat ride. Perfect place to enjoy Koh Rong! Also a short walk away from the very nice 4K beach. Last but not least: Great quiet location on the main beach. Loved all the animals! The bungalows were exactly as pictured and set right on a beautiful beach.

I would highly recommend these Bungalows and the gentleman running the place is so very helpful! Prachtige plek op het laatste stukje strand van het levendige Koh Toch Beach. Long Set Beach mooi, rustig strand is hierdoor op loopafstand waardoor je zowel voor drukte als rust kan kiezen.
Verhuurder waarschuwde van tevoren voor mogelijke geluidsoverlast door de nachtelijke feesten aan de andere kant van het strand, dus dat was goed om te weten. Mooie, goed onderhouden bungalows met prachtig uitzicht over de zee.

I highly recommend her place. Ok, four words words: Alex is an outstanding host. She really cares about you having the best experience ever. Alex makes the best French breakfast in Koh Rong Samloem hands down. The place is located at M'Pai Bay, which is the perfect spot if you wish to relax and chill, but at the same time has many nice small restaurants and bars, so you won't go borer. The room we stayed in number 5 was a bit on small side, but you tend to spend most of your time outside anyway.
Alex was super helpful with tips and even helped us getting a sim card and internet. We really enjoyed our stay although the room we was given was smaller then expected. Alex was such a great host. Although she was sick she welcomed us and gave us a lot of tips about the island. The beach in front of the house is beautiful and offers a lot of places to sit or lie and just relax.
Like it is stated in description the walls between rooms are not up to the ceiling - its more open than we expected. There is a bar with loud music across the river so you can hear it till 12am - its not like you feel right next to the repro but you can hear it. The ocean view bungalows have the best views ever! Bungalow 3 has a huge private rock right in the ocean with sunset views, absolut must see.

They don't really offer any food in the restaurant and there's not a lot to do except relaxing. You don't see a lot of people. The village is a minute walk trough the jungle so not far away. Just make sure to bring a flashligt in the evenings. Overall a nice experience if you don't get easily bored.
We stayed in a bungalow during low season. Had a really cool stay! It's perfect for people, who wants to live and sleep with the nature.
